what do i do i tried rebooting my pc and tried to reinstall steam what are my options here?

Reinstall game and do not run updater!

thanks it works but addons dont work how do i get addons on this version of gmod?

I don't known. We can't support addons from other developers...

i had found a fix on how to paly the new version all i need to know is can i download the addons manualy?
